 This is the book I wish I had read before my daughters were born. Tedd Tripp gets underneath behavior to the heart — which is exactly where the real work of parenting happens. He helped me see that what my children needed most was not better behavior management but a transformed heart, and that my role as their mother was to point them there. I homeschooled my four daughters as an act of discipleship and this book shaped how I thought about that work more than almost anything else. If you have children at any age, read this.

 Written by siblings for siblings and their parents. This book is full of practical wisdom about how to build genuine friendship between children in the same home — not just tolerate each other but actually love each other well. I have recommended it to many families and it always resonates. 

 A mother and daughter writing together about what it looks like to build a real relationship between mothers and daughters grounded in the gospel. Warm, practical, and full of Scripture. A good one to read together with your daughter or to read on your own as a mother trying to understand how to connect with the girls God has given you. 

 This book gave me a fresh framework for thinking about what I was actually trying to do as a parent. Bettis makes the case that your home is a discipleship environment and gives you practical tools for making it one intentionally. A good one for parents at any stage. 

 For the parent of grown children. This book addresses something most parenting books never touch — what does it look like to parent faithfully when your children are adults and making their own choices? Honest, compassionate, and grounded in the gospel. I found it deeply helpful.
